Irrepressible Setteveli Solo
Setteveli was our first syndication, a single horse. In his short 9 race career he has run two 1sts and a 2nd placing. During which time he was troubled by a nasal gland infection. Post operation those days are behind this stoic, fleet footed gelding and under Nathan Doyle's innovative training he is due to embark on what we believe will be a very successful next racing journey. On the back of his first race runaway win, the syndicate said no to a very large offer for him, several times what they paid. We expect Setteveli to repay their faith over time.
Setteveli
Setteveli is a four-year-old gelding who is very lightly raced. He is by Astern out of stakes placed Neapolitan. Astern won over $1,100,000 in only 9 starts and is from one of the top families in the Australian Stud Book. He is a half-brother to top race mare Alizee and stallion Tassort, who is also showing potential at stud. His dam Neapolitan was a very fast 2 year old and is a daughter of the outstanding mare, Viennetta and a sister to G3 winner Golden Archer.
This family is full of black type horses that have been successful on the racetrack and in the breeding barn. Setteveli is a horse with a strong hind quarter, great gaskin and shoulder and is bred for speed.
