Recently when hosting a group of syndicate owners in Sydney attending the exciting Golden Slipper Race day (The World’s richest 2-year-old race - $5m) I arranged a visit to Snowden Stables located at Randwick Racetrack, an 18-minute tram ride from Darling Harbour.
We were hosted by Peter & Lyn Snowden and Racing Manager Collum McCulloch. The leafy grassed courtyards belie the 100 boxes within the Snowden complex. Two of our syndicate horses entrusted to the Snowden Stables, Setteveli & Gaylord… were paraded in beautiful condition, you’d expect nothing less from Peter, Paul, Collum and the entire Snowden team. It’s a wonderful experience to visit professional stables – thoroughbred horses are truly magnificent and to get up close in a professional environment is a moment of magic few get to experience. They are beautiful animals bred to run, in stables like Snowden Racing they thrive, are treated with respect and care. We loved the experience!
